Doubts about the size of an Italian girl of Levis Jeans?

Hello girls, I have just returned from the USA and I went shopping in Otlet. Well, I bought 3 pairs of Levis Size 1L, but here in Italy I always buy a size 3L. Well, what I wanted to ask you is if the sizes of Levis outlets are wrong?
Sorry for my grammatical errors, but I hope you understand what is my doubt.

I’ve never seen a difference with sizing from stores like Macy’s to the Levi‘s Outlets. US and European sizes are different, so I’m guessing Levi’s sold in Italy are in European sizes and Levi’s sold in the US would be in US sizes.
